Terms & conditions

These terms form an agreement between you and PilotAcademy ("we", "us"), the provider of the PilotAcademy aviation exam preparation platform. By creating an account or continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. You confirm you are of legal age, or that you have authority to bind the organisation you represent.

The service

PilotAcademy provides study material, question banks, practice exams and progress analytics for pilots and aviation students. The content is study support only. It does not replace official regulatory publications, approved training or instruction from a certified instructor, and it is not a guarantee of passing any official examination.

Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam.
• Copy, scrape, resell or redistribute question banks or explanations.
• Infringe intellectual property rights of PilotAcademy or third parties.
• Probe, attack or interfere with the security or integrity of the service.
• Reverse engineer the software or circumvent plan limits or technical restrictions.

Intellectual property

PilotAcademy retains all rights in the platform, its software, question content, explanations, documentation and branding. Your membership grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for personal study within the plan you selected.

Payments, subscriptions and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Billing, renewals, currencies, taxes, cancellations and refunds are handled according to the Paddle Buyer Terms. Memberships renew automatically for the interval you chose until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

Service level

We work to keep the platform available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and content may contain mistakes. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time. When access ends you may request an export of your progress data within 30 days.

Liability

Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or breach of these terms.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction, and disputes are subject to its courts. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
